These are the events the Action Team has run so far and their outcomes!
2017 - Care packages for patients at Boston Children's Hospital
--> 566 toys were collected and 66 care packages were made!
2017 - Spending the day at a local nursing home
--> We baked cookies and hand decorated over 50 holiday cards for the residents of a local nursing home. We delivered the cookies and cards and spent some time visiting.
2018 - Placemats for Meals on Wheels
--> We hand decorated and laminated 35 placemats for those who receive meals from Meals on Wheels. We also collected and donated oven mitts.
2018 - Letters to soldiers through Operation Gratitude
--> We wrote and decorated letters and cards to send to soldiers serving overseas.
2018 - Books for Project Smile
--> We collected over 350 books for children in foster care

2018 - Spending the day at a local nursing home Year 2
--> We baked cookies and hand decorated over 50 holiday cards for the residents of a local nursing home. We delivered the cookies and cards and spent some time visiting.
2019 - Food Collection
--> Collected canned goods for the local food bank, Shane Gives Thanks Food Bank
2019 - Bake Sale for New England Military
--> Raised $621 through a bake sale and donated it New England Military troops through New England USO.
2019 - Cards for children in the hospital
--> Hand made and collected 1,016 holiday cards for hospitalized children around the world through the Cardz for Kidz organization.
2019 - Spending the day at a local nursing home Year 3
--> We baked cookies and hand decorated over 50 holiday cards for the residents of a local nursing home. We delivered the cookies and cards and spent some time visiting.
2020 - Sock Drive
--> Collected and organized 1,320 pairs of socks for the homeless. The socks were donated to The Joy of Sox organization and distributed to homeless people across the country.
2020 - Jean/shoe collection for Sole Hope
--> We collected, traced and cut the jeans using a template from the Sole Hope organization. We traced and cut enough jeans to make 181 shoes for those in Uganda suffering from Jiggers and we donated over $630 to Sole Hope.
2020 - Delivering cards to a nursing home Year 4
--> We hand decorated over 50 holiday cards for the residents of a local nursing home. We delivered the cards on Christmas Eve and they were distributed at dinner!
2020 - Crayon Drive
--> We collected roughly 16,200 crayons to donate to the Crayon Initiative organization. The crayons will be melted down and remanufactured, reducing waste. The new crayons will be distributed to children in the hospital nation wide
2021 - Supporting the Carver Police Department
--> With the help of Honor and Respect LLC, The Action Team and myself were able to donate a pair of Honor and Respect sneakers and a shirt to every Carver Police Officer to thank them for their dedication to making a positive impact in the community everyday.
2021 - Sock Drive Year 2
--> Collected and organized 3,029 pairs of socks for the homeless. The socks were donated to The Joy of Sox organization and distributed to homeless people across the country.
2021 - Donation to Danny from 4TheLoveOfDanny with Plympton Police
--> With the help of Plympton Police Department we were able to bring silly cards as well as a box of fun surprises to our hero, 8 year old Danny Sheehan.
2021 - Cradles to Crayons
--> Collected toys, books, clothes and hygiene items for children living in homeless or low income situations.
2021 - Supporting the Plympton Police Department
--> With the help of Honor and Respect LLC, The Action Team and myself were able to donate a pair of Honor and Respect sneakers and a shirt to every Plympton Police Officer to thank them for their dedication to making a positive impact in the community everyday.
2021 - Care Bags to be stored at 8 Police Departments and 2 Fire Departments
--> Collected donations and made care bags for Plympton Police, Carver Police, East Bridgewater Police, Hanson Police, Halifax Police, Duxbury Police, Kingston Police and Pembroke Police. The care bags are to give out in possible situations where children experience traumatic situations and may end up waiting for emergency services. These bags will make the already scary and traumatizing wait time more bearable for this children.
2021 - Delivering Cards to a Nursing Home Year 5
--> We hand decorated over 50 holiday cards for the residents of a local nursing home. We delivered the cards on Christmas Eve and they were distributed at dinner!
2022 - Sock Drive Year 3
--> Collected and organized 4,418 pairs of socks for the homeless. The socks were donated to The Joy of Sox organization and distributed to homeless people across the country.
2022 - March for Babies Boston MA
--> Raised $772 and walked in the March for Babies on May 7 2022 in Boston, MA.
2022 - MA Vest - A - Dog Bake Sale
--> We partnered with Plymouth Police Academy 72nd ROC and hosted a bake sale to raise money for Massachusetts Vest A Dog. We raised $2,354 and donated the leftover treats to local police departments and Plymouth Area Coalition.
2022 - Bracelet Fundraiser for Uvalde, TX
--> We partnered with Plymouth Police Academy 72nd ROC and designed bracelets to raise money for Uvalde, TX. We sold the bracelets and raised $1,010 which went directly to the families of the victims.
2022 - Car Wash for Cops for Kids with Cancer for Danny Sheehan
--> We partnered with Plymouth Police Academy 72nd ROC and hosted a car wash in Marshfield, MA to benefit Cops for Kids with Cancer in memory of Danny Sheehan. We raised $5,520 which goes to families with a child afflicted with cancer.
2022 - Hygiene Kits for Plymouth Area Coalition
--> We partnered with Plymouth Police Academy 72nd ROC and 73rd ROC to put together over 100 hygiene kits containing 15 hygiene items per kit.
2022 - Sock Drive Year 4
--> Collected and organized 5,292 pairs of socks for the homeless. The socks were donated to the Joy of Sox organization and distributed to homeless people across the country.
2023 - Sensory Kits for Police Departments
--> We collected various sensory items, such as fidgets and pop its, to make sensory kits to keep in police cruisers. We partnered with thirteen police departments and these kits can be used on various calls, such as calls with nonverbal children or adults. These kits promote communication and could also de-escalate a situation.
2023 - Reflective Safety Belts for Police Departments
--> We provided seven police departments with reflective safety belts that can be kept in cruisers and given out to anyone walking, running or biking at night without one, ensuring everyone stays safe on the road.
2023 - Sean Gannon Fundraiser
--> We organized a fundraiser in honor and memory of Sergeant Sean Gannon, a Yarmouth K9 handler who was shot and killed in the line of duty in April of 2018. This event featured a bake table, raffle and touch a truck and raised $4,000 for the Sean M. Gannon Memorial Fund.
2023 - School Supplies to Make Back to School Backpacks for Children in Need
--> We partnered with Plympton Police and Plympton Girl Scouts to collect school supplies to fill backpacks for children in need. All supplies and backpacks were distributed to local children through DCF.
