MEET LAICEY!
Hello everyone! Thank you for visiting our website and taking the time to learn about The Action Team and the founder/leader, Laicey. The Action Team began when Laicey was a Junior in high school. When first trying to get the Action Team started, a teacher of hers, Ms. Vanessa Haen, helped tremendously to get the ball rolling. She is still one of our biggest supporters. Laicey graduated from the Occupational Therapy Assistance program with an Associates Degree in Applied Science from Mercy University in 2021 and is currently pursuing a Bachelor's in Criminal Justice - Substance Abuse from Southern New Hampshire University. In September of 2022, Laicey graduated from the Plymouth Police Academy 72nd ROC and started her career as a police officer in Massachusetts. This allows The Action Team to easily partner with local law enforcement agencies for many events. The Action Team was started because we truly want to make a difference in the lives of others. We believe being kind is one of the most important things you can be and we believe we CAN be the change. In the last five years The Action Team has become one of the most important parts of our lives. We am so thankful for everyone who has supported us, encouraged us and helped us along the way. WE are the Action Team :)
WHAT WE DO
Be The Change!
The Action Team organizes and participates in community service events geared towards helping people from all walks of life. Visit our events tab to see all of the events we have run, but we have have done events to support the military, the homeless, patients in the hospital, Meals on Wheels, residents of nursing homes, foster children, those in Uganda suffering from Jiggers and more. In recent years we have not only partnered with law enforcement agencies, but also other community organizations. We only hope to continue to grow and help more and more people.
A lot of research goes into choosing an event. Once the event has been planned and thought out, we will create a flyer to distribute and share. We are so glad to be able to give you all the opportunity to give back, get involved and be apart of the change. Once the flyer is shared, you can get in direct contact with me on how to donate or how to help out. Our Facebook page and Instagram page has weekly posts with event details, event progress, giveaway opportunities, and ways you can support like purchasing an Action Team bracelet or mug!
